Objective :
To build a full size football stadium to serve the children affected by the tsunami, location Ban Muang School Phang Nga Province.
To support and facilitate a football tournament for 12 local schools - two leagues, under 13 and under 16
To encourage excellence in the children and develop leadership, confidence and team-building skills
To 'build back better'- give greater opportunities to the tsunami affected areas than they had previously
To encourage and inspire the young people 'to be all they can be', with the potential of being selected to attend the national selection in Bangkok to attend the "Chang to Everton" scholarship for football training with Everton Academy.
To make the football tournament an annual and unifying highlight for the community
To encourage children to excel in football with the potential for provincial and later national selection.
And simply, to put a smile on the faces of the children, who lost so much. |
