Project Name : Mini Farm for School Lunch Program at Ban Kham Riang School, Kanthara Wichai District, Mahasarakham Province
Objective :
1.1 To teach students about various agricultural activities such as vegetable growing, fish raising, pig raising, etc.

1.2 To produce food to supplement the school lunch program.

1.3 To provide an opportunity for students to earn an additional income.
Sponsor : Rotary Bangkok South
How it's making a difference:

The Mini Farm for School Lunch Program requires minimal amount of resources (such as land, water, and labor) to generate various benefits such as income, goods, and knowledge for those participating in the project. The Mini Farm introduces industrial models of raising animals, plants, and vegetables that have been scaled down. Animals and insects, which are part of the local people's diet, will be produced and will supplement the school lunch program. Excess production will be sold in order to generate income for purchasing food for school lunches and will generate funds for further investments in the project.
