Project Name : The Fatima Self-Help Centre

This consists currently of 120 women who create and make clothes and other items for sale through a number of domestic and international outlets.
Until earlier this year the women were located in a small building within the complex and at one point this housed 200 workers. The building was demolished and a new 3 storey building is being erected, which when finished in spring 2007 will house up to 300 workers.
At a cash of THB 15m this building has been financed by many sources. The current workers (120) are paid according to their relative productivity and can earn up to THB 4,000 per month.
