Project Name : Income Generating Activities for Women and Youth from Tobacco Farming Communities, Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai Province
Objective :
To promote income generating activities among women and youth in tobacco farming communities, occupational groups and other villagers. As a result, villagers learn valuable business skills and reduce their dependency on seasonal income

To establish a revolving loan fund program (RVF) through village bank for women and youth in tobacco farming communities, occupational groups and other villagers. Revolving loan funds provide easy access to capital at low interest rates.

How it's making a difference:
1. Local Institution Building and Access to Credit: The establishment of a local village bank, which provides revolving loan fund to villagers for income generating activities. The expected result is that villagers have consistent work and higher annual income.

2. Skills Transfer and Capacity Building: Villagers have an opportunity to learn about business concepts and marketing strategies. As a result, their business skills have improved.
